Table shows the land classification of Aurora Province. It consists of two (2) major classification which include alienable and disposable land and forestland. The former has an extent of 72,562 hectares and 236,804 hectares for the latter, equivalent to 2.3 and 77 percent, respectively of the province's total land area. Area Distribution By Municipality

Aurora Province is comprised of 151 barangays. The municipality of Maria Aurora has the biggest number of Barangays with forty (40) barangays, while Dinalungan has the least with only nine (9) barangays (Table 7).
